I LOVE this post on the oh-so-lovely blog Design Love Fest...actually it's genius because, just like your purse, the top of your dresser says everything about you. Sooooo...what's on you dresser? I'm going to take a pic of mine tonight and post (just a warning...it's crazy crowded :)

New hue for a new season

Loving this article in Refinery 29 on the hot hues for nail color for spring '11. Everyone is gorgeous but this gray shade really has me intrigued.

Have you heard?

Our favorite king of coffee has  updated their famous logo...and in a big way. What do you think? I think it's interesting that the Starbucks name has been lifted from the logo, leaving only their lovely lady and iconic green. I suppose no words are needed when it comes to this brand. It's also very clean and graphic. I guess I like it then!

Just hope there's no revolt a la the Gap :)

It's all over the blogs (The Cut / Fashioinista) this afternoon...Blake Lively has been handpicked by Karl Lagerfeld himself to be the 'ambassador' for Chanel's new Mademoiselle line of handbags. How do you say 'mega-jealous' in French?

I love this quote from Blake L;

She definitely has the spirit and I could not agree more with her on the allure of a bag by Chanel. Swoon and sigh.

New year...new Fage greek yogurt flavors! Actually, I really like getting the plain and adding my own fruit and/or honey but at work, the ones with fruit work best for me. These new flavors look pretty darn awesome. It's kind of hard to read in this pic. so let me just fill you in :) Here they are...Cherry Pomegranate, Strawberry Goji, Mango Guanabana, Blueberry Acai.

Don't they sound splendid! As if this product could get any better...and it's not just the Greek in me that saying this ;)

OK, so I still have my Christmas tree up (it's coming down this weekend : (  but the best way to get over an awesome holiday season is to move on to the next holiday up and that would be Valentines day of course! Seriously, who doesn't love it. Even if you are sans sweetheart, the pink and red and hearts and chocolates, should make anyone smile. Here's a few holiday inspired Valentine candy faves (via the Paper Source) to get you in the mood. I'm especially loving the Spanish candy hearts!

Here's to 2011 ... and soup!

Hi all! Happy New Year! And I'm thinking it's going to be a good one...who doesn't love a new beginning at the very least :) I have to admit that I REALLY struggled this morning...getting back to the reality of a full work week...one without parties et al, to distract me. You all probably figured I'd have some post holiday depresssion...and well, I do. But I love the fact that there is always something to look forward to and I'm ready to tackle whatever comes next.

I read somewhere that black-eyed peas and cabbage are great foods to eat at the beginning of the new year because they bring good luck. Have you ever heard that? Well, not taking any chances, I'll be making a big pot of this delicious soup this week!
