Is there anything better than the first snow of the season? It sticks to all the things it should...like the trees and rooftops but not the roads. It's perfect and picturesque and just about the prettiest sight all year. We had our first snow last night and woke up to a postcard-like winter wonderland. With Christmas carols on the car radio and my favorite latte, I only wish my ride into work was a little bit longer so I could enjoy this first taste of winter.
wow!can't believe you got snow...but i guess it's kind of late, right? the weather's just freaky in dc--warm one day, cold/rainy the next... i doubt we'll see snow until march. lucky you!!!! enjoy it all!!!
ReplyDeleteI pretty much concede that snow anytime after Nov. 1 is fair game so getting our first, entirely pain free, snow on Dec. 1 is OK by me. I have to say that I totally melt (no pun intended) over the first snow. It's nothing short of spectacular!
