The money shot

 

 

I promised there would be no more posts with pics from the now infamous Death Valley shoot for the local film Chris (the shirtless one in this pic., of course) is producing titled, 3.14...the movie. But I couldn't resist this one. Here's why...you know, I've worked on a few local, independent films and I've learned one thing...no matter how large or small the budget, no matter where the location, or who the director (or in this case director of photography) is...inevitably, at some point, someone will do the classic...'look through the hands (ie. viewfinder)' move. It cracks me up because it's such a cliche of filmmaking...and yet, apparently...a technique that always works :)
