A big leap into the 21st century

Hi kids!!!!!!!! Oh my gosh...it's been ages since I've had a chance to post anything. Here's the rundown on my posting dilemma (which is happily over now :) ... first, I had absolutely zero, nada, zilch access to a computer this weekend. Both Chris and I had sick computers ... and can I tell you, it was the worst. I actually had to come to work on Saturday just to send an email...ridiculous and something I refuse to let happen again (more on that in a second). Sunday, we drove Chris' father to Toronto for his trip to Greece. After lolly-gagging around, stopping for coffee et al, we hit the US/Canada border...with about one million other cars. By the time we got out of there, Chris had to floor it all the way to the airport...in a word, terrifying. Oh and by the way, his father was THE LAST person on the plane. Way too stressful for me.

I was off Monday (which, by the way was 80 degrees!!) but had to drive to Syracuse and back ...boring story you don't even want to hear...suffice it to say, it was a pain. By the time I got back to work Tuesday, it was like I had been gone 6 months. So busy just trying to catch up. This time of year can be pretty hectic...the last day of classes is in less than 2 weeks. Wow.

So the biggest news of the week is that I am getting a iPhone. After driving poor Joe nuts with questions, first on the iPad, then on a new laptop, I realized a smarthphone is what I really want and need. I don't even have it yet (just ordered it) but I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am. Laura refers to life in 'pre' and 'post' iPhone terms now. And I've already selected my phone cover...Kate 'Spade' of course :)
