The NY Times wrote an article about the extraordinarily inspiring story of Giles Duley over the weekend. Giles lost three limbs while he was a war photographer in Afghanistan. The article was timely as I was planning on using this blog post to highlight some extraordinary design work in the field of prosthetics. It's truly phenomenal when function and form can be married so artfully like in the two examples above. For info on these designers, go here and here.
