I cannot tell you how much I love these photos. They are so great, I feel like I was on the trip with you. A couple of questions...I must know more about that ice cream display. Was that an ice cream shop? It's so fabulous. Also, did the McDonalds have items on the menu that were unique to Tokyo? Always love to know those. Oh and the toys...tell me about the toys!
ReplyDeleteyes, it was an ice cream/snack bodega shop near an ancient temple we went to... it was just so simple, but really adorable at the same time.
ReplyDeleteoh, my goodness.. i love the Japanese McDs....They had THE BEST toys!!!! Do you see the happy meal drink cup??? that little girl is on the front? I have her figurine as well AND they TALK!!! how cool is that????
the special moon burger was gone by the time i got there... they did have some variations on the burger and some other different things that i can't recall now (horrible memory!)....but their breakfast was cool because they had these mini pancakes...so cute.
plus, everything is really really clean & efficient. strangely enough, Korea is not a big McD fan....They prefer wendys/b-king. very strange. But McDs is pretty busy in tokyo. for those toys alone i'd go back!@!!!
