why can't we?

I loved reading the recent issue of NY Mag...esp the feature on the partnership between Humberto Leon & Carol Lim, of Opening Ceremony. Throughout the whole article, I kept thinking, "Why can't I do this???".... I've always loved the idea of having a small shop that displayed all my treasures---found objects, travel souvenirs, millions of stationary I fall in love with, Japanese kawaii , etc.... All the little knick-knacks that somehow seem special to me. Of course I'm over-simplifying what a business actually needs in order to succeed (namely money! & a successful business model)...but I always have this crazy dream swimming around in my brain. Of course my dream would also include KP as my partner in crime! Just thinking/dreaming aloud.
