You've heard me yammer on about the weather up here for a while and now I need some advice on what to wear for these perpetually chilly 'spring' mornings. When I leave the house for work, I always need to wear some sort of jacket (or maybe sweater, I am thinking). Lately, I've been in a rut, wearing this little quilted number I got from Old Navy a few years back ( I adore it, but I'm tired of wearing it, day after day after day). So any advice? I don't know if I want to go the jacket route 'cause I have plenty of those and always seem to get more use (in general) out of sweaters...but I am open to any advice. If you've seen something you love out there for mornings in the 50's and cool evenings...please let me know!!This rather sumptuous sweater is by the Gap.
we've been having very cool days here as well (sandwiched between 80 degree days)....very annoying, in my opinion....but the best solution i've found is wearing a spring scarf. i've bought several this season in crinkled cotton (because that seems to be the trend lately) and they've really worked out well when the morning temps hover in the 50s. Of course this also means I wear long sleeve cardigans/sweaters as well but that's pretty much the norm for me anyway. the temps indoors are just as bad in my office so it's basically sweaters/scarves all year long!
ReplyDeletehave you checked out Jcrew outlet lately? they've got a ton of new scarves and i love all the different patterns. i really think this is the way to go.
i can't think of any new cardigans that might fit the bill at the moment, but i'll keep this in mind when i search around.....

Spring scarves are a fabulous idea!! Not only do I love that look...it will be kind of a new thing for me since I haven't really done it in the past. And I'm infatuated with scarves in general so this is a perfect solution.
