Barbie

This is the Barbie that I grew up with in the 80s. She had this perfectly pink gown and gorgeously long blond hair--at least when I first bought her (I had a habit of cutting Barbie's hair to fit my own bob cut, but that was OK). I used to play with my Barbie "set" for hours on end. Ken, Barbie, & my Marie Osmond doll that I had brought with me from Korea. I would of course be Barbie & Marie would be my evil sister (she even had the big toothy mouth) and we'd both fight for Ken's love. I made my own Dynasty set with flashy clothes to match. I'd come up with eleborate storylines (they always involved betrayal of some sort) and I would play make-believe for hours. Boy, those were the good ol days!
