The Legendary Notebook
A while back my brother-in-law gave me a Moleskine . I had always heard about these notebooks. They've been around forever it seems. They are certainly innocuous looking...rather simple and plain, and I was not sure how I would use mine...until I took it to work. Something about them is so clean and professional and I can barely imagine doing my job without it. I have a second one for personal use...I am always making lists and the Moleskine is the perfect place to jot information down. Now I use it for making notes for Ooh La La Du Jour!
oh.my.god! i'm a HUGE moleskine fan!!!! i get super excited when i see my favorite stuff here! what a dork i am!
ReplyDeleteOh.My. God...I should have figured as much! Are they not the greatest? Joe got some from work and it was just too gorgeous to pass up, even though I wasn't sure what to do with it...now...I am never without mine.
ReplyDeleteThis got me thinking...do you have or did you ever have a Filofax? Was that just a 90's thing?
i bought a filofax a year or two ago because i wanted a change from my kate spade organizer. i'd collected the KS one for years because i collected the yearly inserts(which always has darling artwork).....
ReplyDeleteanyway, i think they're still great.. i have my old black patent one from the 90s too! they have really come down on price and who could resist that they're english?!!
This is very good to know (especially the part about them coming down in price). I may have to get one. I had one in the 90's to and lost it. I think I am ready for another!
ReplyDeleteI am glad I got you hooked, I am addicted to them as well. They do look sharp at work.
