Snoopy was my first real crush. I can't recall a time when I didn't know him and the whole Peanut Gang. I try to catch all the holiday specials when they're on t.v. and still get excited when I see Snoopy products. He's timeless.
Oh man...me too! I had a Snoopy doll that I got for Christmas when I was 9 years old. I have several fantastic outfits for him (a bathing suit, a camping outfit, some tennis togs). I took him every where.
And while we are on the subject, the Peanuts Christmas special from the 60's is one of the most beautiful pieces of animation I have ever seen. Not to mention the great soundtrack. Love this post!
Oh gosh I love everything Peanuts, still the best cartoon ever, even better than spongebob. I remember Kate used to have a snoopy sweater she would wear and always had her snoopy doll with her. My favorite character was Woodstock.

ReplyDeleteI had forgotten my Snoopy sweater. Most worn item of clothing in my youth. I looked like a dork but boy did I love that beagle!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I still have a huge Peanuts sticker collection...ugh and I'm 40+.
