Close to 14 years ago (coincidentally at the same time that I met Ms. Macaron) I also met one of my favorite people and favorite artists. It feels funny to call Chris an artist because he's done everything but be an artist for many many years...still, I think he is a remarkable photographer, whose portraits, in particular, are second to none. In the time, I've known him, he's owned a auto repair shop and restaurant, produced a feature film and still managed to turn out some fairly amazing photos. Like his photos, Chris doesn't express much emotion on the surface...look a little deeper however and you see they both speak volumes.
