Nostalgia

Until very recently, I thought I was the only person who loved Polaroids. Even though I also love all the flashy, high-tech advancements in photography, I have quietly missed those old images that were ready in minutes. Then, this past Thanksgiving, while enjoying a wonderful holiday with a great group of friends, a local art student and fantastic girl, who was dining with us, whipped out her Polaroid (well, its been reinvented but the principle is the same) and took the picture above. Not only is it one of the best group shots I've been in, in years, it was that old format I loved so much. Since this photo was taken, I've been paying more attention to what seems to be a renewed interest in this old technology. Thank you Robyn, for bringing it back into my life!
